On November 14th 2009 – The Vintage Rockbar in Doncaster will host a very worthwhile benefit show for the people of the Philippines. Higher Rhythm Recording Studio quickly set up the Higher Rhythm Foundation concentrating efforts in providing aid and food supplies for the affected regions.

The show on November 14th will feature live sets from:
slash bikini
the virelais
in fear of olive
UV pop
stereo syndicate
pistola kicks
suns of banditos

In addition to the live bands there will also be a fund-raising auction (electric guitars, amps and much more to be auctioned off!!) . . . (I’ve also heard rumours of a young lady tooled up with a shot belt doing the rounds but you’ll have to see for yourself!)

“On the 26th of September, a sunny day across most of the UK, the residents of this vibrant city were hit by the most devastating flood the city has ever seen.”

Here at Destroy before Reading are very excited to be building a library of live sessions of local (and not so local) bands. Often in association with Higher Rhythm Studios, the sessions are a unique snapshot of bands in session, playing live.
